In 2014, Apstra, a rapidly growing company, envisioned a new Menlo Park headquarters that blended industrial, old-world charm with cutting-edge technology. They wanted a space that impressed clients and fostered a creative, collaborative culture.

AP+I Design delivered a flexible environment, expanding workspaces and creating adaptable collaboration areas. An eclectic mix of materials—Oriental rug-inspired carpeting, raw corrugated metal, and walnut veneers—reflected Apstra's unique aesthetic.

To balance quality and budget, AP+I focused on high-impact areas, using cost-effective solutions where possible. Unfinished raw materials enhanced the industrial vibe, while dynamic ceiling designs added interest. The result was a headquarters that perfectly captured Apstra's vision and supported their growth.
